High-performance Dry Film Lubricants for Print and Packaging Industry

Our dry film coatings are developed to improve efficiencies of machines by minimizing their maintenance and downtimes, decreasing cycle times, and extending tool life.
Micro Surface Corporation Coatings for Packaging, Print, and Paper Industries
Our coatings can be used over a wide range of machine components, as well as large packaging equipment. Currently, we offer two types of dry film coating materials to our clients in packaging, print, and paper industries. They include:
- Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2): The MoS2 can be applied to solids, plastics, ferrous, and non-ferrous materials. The various forms of MoS2 coatings provide a vast range of chemical properties including corrosion resistance, inertness, and non-magnetism. MoS2 performs well in the vacuum and dry environments.
- Tungsten Disulfide (WS2): This lubricant doesn’t require binders or resins, and is compatible across a temperature operating range – 450°F to over 1200°F. However, in vacuum environments, the temperature range is – 305°F to 2400°F. This coating material is applied dry and doesn’t require any curing time. The tungsten disulfide coating is a low friction coating, which improves component performance, as well as service life in most applications.
Both the above-mentioned coatings provide at least some corrosion resistance and with certain formulations excellent corrosion resistance, and can be used with various types of greases or oils.
